Der Zeichenstil ist genau wie das Wort Katharsis dem Altgriechischen nachempfunden. Der Buch-Stil ist sehr reduziert. Hintergründe und Umgebung werden weggelassen oder nur angedeutet. Zu Anfang des Buches wird die Umgebung beschrieben. Mehr ist nicht nötig, um die Fantasie anzuregen und den Betrachter einzuladen, die Katharsis im literarischen Sinne mitzuerleben.
